The Cellar

Downstairs at The Cellar, we have a private free-to-hire basement bar with dedicated staff that holds 30-80 guests.

Exposed stone walls and pillars, brewery memorabilia and festoon bulbs give this atmospheric space an intimate feel. Party hosts are welcome to decorate the room to suit their tastes.

With the fridges full of The Cellar’s award-winning beer selection, fizz and an extensive gin menu, it’s the perfect place for a party. A flexible food offering ranging from buffets to platters, hotpots and pizzas ensures there’s something for everyone.

Plug your own music into the in-house sound system or hire a DJ to take over the DJ booth and entertain your guests on the dancefloor.

Big screens can show live sport or, if you’ve got the tech skills, a slideshow of your funniest photos.

Centrally located, we’re a few minutes’ walk from Chester train station, with parking and city centre hotels on our doorstep.

Please note: we do not host children’s parties, 18ths, 21sts, baby showers, stag or hen parties. Please also note that we are only able to offer a free-to-hire venue by ensuring that the parties that we book are profitable, and any booking enquiry may be discounted on that basis.
